Description

The Honeywell CC-TCF901 is a C-Series 9-port control firewall input/output terminal assembly (IOTA) engineered by Honeywell specifically for industrial automation scenarios. It provides core cybersecurity protection and stable communication connectivity for Experion PKS/C300 distributed control systems, serving as a critical device in industrial control networks that isolates the control layer from the field layer and safeguards the security of key data transmission. Built with industrial-grade rugged design, this module operates reliably across a wide temperature range of -40°C to +70°C. Its patented hot-channel heat dissipation structure prevents overheating, ensuring stable performance even in harsh industrial environments like petrochemical plants and power/metallurgical facilities. By eliminating single points of failure at the hardware level, it guarantees continuous, uninterrupted operation of production systems.

In terms of core connectivity and functionality, the CC-TCF901 features nine RJ-45 Ethernet ports with flexible 8+1 port configuration. Eight ports connect to the FTE fault-tolerant Ethernet cables linking C300 controllers and CFIMs series devices within the cabinet, while one uplink port ensures stable integration with the FTE monitoring network. It also provides stable 24VDC power distribution to connected devices, addressing both communication and power supply needs. The module supports redundant configuration and optional redundant power supply design, enabling automatic failover during network link or power failures to significantly enhance system resilience. Additionally, it integrates stateful firewalls, deep packet inspection (DPI), and intrusion prevention systems (IPS). It precisely identifies mainstream industrial protocols such as Modbus and EtherNet/IP, enabling real-time monitoring and interception of unauthorized network access and malicious attacks. This prevents data leaks and unauthorized operations, establishing a multi-layered security defense system for industrial control networks.

Additionally, this module supports IEEE 802.1Q Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) technology, enabling the division of industrial control networks into multiple logically isolated security zones to limit the propagation of potential attacks. It is also compatible with VPN protocols such as IPsec and OpenVPN, supporting secure remote access and device maintenance for authorized personnel. Combined with SNMPv3 and SSH security management protocols, it enables centralized policy configuration and operational monitoring, simplifying security operations and maintenance for industrial networks. Featuring a compact design measuring approximately 12.1cm × 14.5cm, supporting both DIN rail and panel mounting. It integrates directly into C-series cabinet enclosures. Its plug-and-play functionality significantly reduces installation and commissioning costs.
