Description

The IPC704 signal conditioner converts the chargebased signal from a piezoelectric-based transducer into a current or a voltage signal. This current or voltage signal is transmitted to the processing electronics via a standard 2-wire or 3-wire transmission cable.

The current modulation technique allows transmission over a distance of up to 1 km. A GSI galvanic separation unit is required for this configuration. 

The electronic circuitry of the IPC704 signal conditioner is incorporated into a moulded aluminium enclosure. The signal conditioner has configurable high-pass and low-pass filters and an optional integrator to give a velocity output. Furthermore, RFI filters protect the input and output against radiofrequency interference and other electromagnetic influences.

Precise Signal Conversion and Functional Adaptation: Equipped with the B03 speed output integrated module (including integrator), adapted to C10 specification sensor sensitivity parameters, supporting a transfer coefficient of 0.1-98100 µA/(pC・s), capable of converting charge signals into speed-related current outputs; D100 offers customizable output sensitivity configuration with linear error ≤0.2% and temperature stability of 100 ppm/°C, ensuring signal conversion accuracy. Supports a wide frequency range of 0.5Hz-20kHz for dynamic signal capture across diverse operating conditions.

High-risk environment safety certifications: Holds A2 explosion-proof certification (Ex ib IIC T6...T4 Gb) for safe deployment in Zone 1/2 potentially explosive atmospheres. Complies with international authoritative certifications including CE, IECEx, NEPSI, and KGS, meeting safety standards for high-risk industries such as petrochemicals, gas, and power. Operating temperature range: -30°C to +85°C; storage temperature: -40°C to +85°C. Withstands 95% maximum non-condensing humidity. IP40 protection rating. Resists 10-500Hz vibration up to 2g peak and 15g peak shock (11ms half-sine wave).

Flexible filtering and anti-interference design: Equipped with an E10-spec 10Hz high-pass filter (24dB/octave, 4th order) and an F5000-spec 5kHz low-pass filter (12dB/octave, 2nd order) for precise signal selection; Built-in symmetrical LC network RFI filter effectively counters radio frequency and electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable signal transmission; Supports 2-wire current transmission with a maximum transmission distance of 1km (requires GSI galvanic isolation unit).
